Campy Ergopower Brake Clamps

I wonder if anybody can advise? I have bought a pair of the new 3T Ergosum LTD handlebars for my bike, and, to my astonishment, cannot clamp my 2009 Campy Ergopower Levers to the new bars! The are 2 mm from tightening. They have the standard 23.8 to 24.2 mm clamps, which appear to be too large. Too risky to shim them. Does anybody know if a smaller Campy clamp is available?

You need to use the shims supplied for larger hands, I had the same problem, but it never happened with the Ergonova's just the Ergosums.

Once you have fitted them then they are perfect as per the pic below

  • That has cracked it! I knew that there must be a simple answer, but, never thought of the 'Big Hands' shim. Many thanks. Nice bike by the way
