I have a specialized allez 2012 and know that the tyre is 700 x 23, but I wasnt sure on which inner tube would be most suitable. Found out I had a slow puncture on the tyre and wanted to change.

I have a spare specialized presta valve 32mm, but I wanted to get a pack of 5. These have good reviews, but unsure on the correct size. I have bog standard version of the allez.

Please can you advise?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for the reply.

Can you please give me an understanding of the differences between them? Would it simply mean the size of the valve? So the difference is 25,35,37 and 47?

This is the valve length, presta is standard for racing/road tyres etc...
If you have a shallow rim you can just use a short valved tube :)

Understood. Thank you for the education. I have ordered the spare tubes now and making a choice for some winter tyres for work commute. Would I be correct in assuming I would need some tape would also reduce the changes of a puncture due to more padding?

Whilst on the flip side make the tyre a little heavier?

Better off just getting better tyres on a road bike to be honest. Something like the GP 4 seasons if youre riding on poor quality/dirty roads.

Rode a set of those for a year in London and get very few punctures (can't say none at all. but it was only 1 or 2)
