Dont know if this is the right place to ask this but,
is it possible to put eps on my c59 mechanical frameset?
can it be done?if not i might have a frameset for sale so that
i can get a electrical version.

Mark, you might be able to send the frame back to Colnago for internal wiring, but it might cost.

I spoke to the great Valentino Campagnolo at the Cycle Show this year and he explained why they are not considering an external kit is because they believe they have produced a 100% reliable kit and that by fitting it externally you are compromising the integrity.

I bought my C59 as manual as I probably won't be using it more than 20 times a year, my R5 Cervelo doesn't accept EPS as Cervelo haven't produced a frame to accept it yet, so as my CX-1 one accepts manual and EPS so I am going to fit it this afternoon.

I'll let you know how I get on, had to pay £37 for the removal tool for the plugs and it was only the size of a 10p piece and £40 for the internal wiring tools, so it all adds up!

Thats of course if i uprade to the eps upgrade kit.

Hi Mark,

No bits come with it as officially Campag only wants the kit fitted by trained technicians, but they have posted all the videos on YouTube, so hopefully should be straight forward.

I'd fire off an email to laura at Colnago dot com and see if she advise about altering your frame.

Can't help with the SR kit, but you shouldn't have any problem selling it.
