Camelback

I ordered a Camelback rogue http://www.wiggle.co.uk/camelbak-rogue- ... tAodRDwAIA to use just as a backpack when out cycling for an extra layer, tools etc ... but when it arrived I found out you can't close the bag without the bladder as the flap of the camelback hooks onto it.
Can anyone recommend me another bag/camelback style for around £50? I would like it to be hydration compatible but I still want the bag to work without a bladder present for shorter rides as most of the time I prefer to use a bottle.

hi
i have the m.u.l.e its great as its big enough to hold everything for a full day/weekend ride
i shopped around but the retail price was about £70 but i found loads on ebay for about £30
i only payed £25 for mine with out a bladder but that was fine as i already have a 1 ltr bladder
hope my bit of advise helps0 -
I can't help but think the mule looks a bit too big, it only needs to hold a light windproof, pump, tools, spare tube. Does anyone have any experience with the Octane? http://www.wiggle.co.uk/camelbak-octane ... pack-2012/0

Old model rogue, doesn't have that problem, it's cheap too. Alternatively if you'd prefer a red one then check the classifieds this time next week0 -
Hmm, after looking in an actual shop today (which I honestly should've done to start of with as its cheaper!) I think i may go for the lobo http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=75193 It doesn't have that problem thankfully.0

LoL when i said about getting a M.U.L.E camelbak you said it looks big
and now your looking at a lobo, its the same size as it also holds a 3ltr bladder. LoL0 -

The Mule is 12.5 litres with a pretty big expandable compartment .... the lobo is 6 litres
I don't need to carry much so I want something compact, like the camelback rogue which I ordered first0 -
I've got my older style rogue on eBay at the minute...
