Hi, i'm interested in a 2012 Raleigh Clubman and wondered if anyone on the forum has one ?
I'm looking for something a bit different and hark back to the days when i had the original Clubman in the 80s.
What are your thoughts on the bike, i know it is not an out and out racer but any opinions would be welcome.
Also I can't find much info on frame geometry so a few measurements would be helpfull, i'm looking at a 52 or 54.
Thanks.

Well I haven't seen one in the flesh but oh my that is a great looking bike and it appears to be available at reasonable prices.0

Tredz has them on offer at £665 - a saving of 30% on RRP -

if you want one then I would seriously consider the Tredz price. You're unlikely to get much more of a discount elsewhere.0 -
Sorry - just found Ash Cycles offering 33% discount

Yes, I bought a 2012 Clubman back in August and I love it. It's not the lightest bit of kit in the world but it's comfortable, quick and looks epic.
I have to say the Shimano group set works well too, very smooth shifting (even compared to my SRAM Red equipped summer bike  )
I changed the wheels for a lighter set I had knocking about, stuck some Gatorskins on and it's now a great ride for those wet winter days.0 -
Looks lovely. I've got a Dawes Clubman which looks fairly similar (similar retro look), but has a carbon fork. Was a bit cheaper than the Raleigh, but that Raleigh does look pretty.
It's nice to have mudguards and mounts for a rack. Also, being steel should last a few years.0 -
Thanks for the replies, it certainly does look amazing, i am very tempted to get one soon.
"Lowrider" Any chance of a few measurements please to give me an idea of the geometry ?He is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!0 -
