Carbon brake pads for campag carbon rims
Just wondering what brake pads people recommend for use with campagnolo (hyperon) carbon rims?
Swiss stop yellow
Campagnolo grey
Campagnolo red - ie new model
Reynolds cryo blue pads
Any of the cheaper brands
Would appreciate people's experiences.

I'd suggest Swissstop Yellow. But check what Campag advise. I know some brands will terminate your warranty if you don't use the listed brake pads.***** Pro Tour Pundit Champion 2020, 2018, 2017 & 2011 *****0

Cheers rozzer. Campagnolo recommend and require you to use their own brand pads.
However, I'm not too worried about their warranty as my hyperons were bought used. I'm really just looking to get what works best with the rims, considering also ones that might increase the level of wear on them.0 -
Have used Mavic yellow on my Boras which are the same as Swiss Stop and made by Swiss Stop and found them too grabby. I went back to Campag. But, I discovered there were two variations in the Campag pads one was useless and the other was good. The good ones had a really strong smell and I think were made from cork. They were both brown.
Now new red ones are out and they seem the OK. They are all useless in the wet except maybe the Mavic.Pegoretti

Thanks for that. I have a set if Reynolds blue cryo pads and intend trying the new red campag ones. Will be interesting to try both back to back.0

If you find good ones, let us know; I've tried Swisstop Yellows and was underwhelmed (+ they're goddamm expensive).
Now I've got some Massi (I think?) carbon pads (grey/brown) which seem a bit better.
Tried Planet X cork, not great, and Shimano carbon, not great.
Did Etape II in the wet, the descents were a nightmare.....
Oh yeah, and they all squeal, and yes, my pads are toed in correctly.
