Ultegra Di2 with 105.

Can the Ultegra Di2 upgrade kit be used with a 105 setup or doesn't always have to be an Ultegra -> Di2 upgrade? Anyone tried it, or know why it wouldn't work?

    Shimano 10sp chainset and cassette. Any will work, even tiagra. May be worth a ultegra chain to shift smoother as its got one specific way round to help shifting.
