Best day of the week, except the weekend of course.
Today, minion is off at a funeral, which is a bugger, as I'm doing interviews all day for lesser-minions. Reading their applications has been hilarious, they're going to get some great feedback from me :twisted:
Was at Harrogate last night, that was fun. Taught my Aunt how to use a YouView player, don't know if you know what they are, but they're pretty clever things. Don't think I'd buy one, but I wouldn't mind nicking it...

Anywho, a housemate is up and about, which is annoying (this is MY time, B*tch!) so I'm getting back to my tea.

In other news i won chocolates, biscuits and some john lewis vouchers in yesterdays xmas draw, i also drank a lot of spiced rum and offended lots of welshish people! Job done.

Despite Friday (woot!) there will be no bacons this morn <sigh>. However, a customer has convened a meeting at approx midday, at a well-respected local eatery. I shall be in attendence.

So, this morning will consist of some work, you know, to show willing, an' all that. Tomorrow will hoepfully consist of starting the fabrication of a sump-guard/skid plate for a mates car, and Sunday will consist of squabbling with Gazlar over who can get closest to FoxC without incurring the wrath of the Courts. Sanchez may have to act as referee.

Having been pretty happy for several days I'm now in a mood and I'm sick of it already.
Will try to find some work to do and not to inflict myself on anyone, and have some cake cos that always cheers me up... although I will be going through some interview stuffs with a friend so that'll help take my mind off it.
Found out last night that a local pub has a Pig Board (like a cheese board, but with various piggy meat things in it instead) I think I shall have to investigate this further at the next opportunity.

Onwards to muesli and work avoidance!

Minion is super excited about his NS Soda arriving today, and has already pestered parcelforce.
In a bit of a spring cleaning mode today, don the desk and keyboards and had a general tidy up, maybe i'll hover as well later?

Got rather drunk last night to celebrate the end of term (strictly speaking there's another week left but meh). Need to go into London in a bit and buy my little cousin a birthday present, it's definitely preferable to 4 hours of equine reproduction lectures.

Brrrr is all i can say. The start of the week our boiler was shutting off now and again, so got the gas bloke out to sort it before it got worse. He "fixed" it but actually made it work occasionally so he came out again and "fixed" it again and now it doesn't work at all. Only plus point from having no heat or hot water is that it motivates ne to go to the gym and warm up and get a hot shower instead of a cold one.

Bright side, just got home - a few hours work and then off to London for the w.end on a thank you jolly from the old owners of the company. Its going to be excessive (obviously)

Morning 'Tards,

Just finishing off the deal with my would-be employer and seeing whether the other lot will chime in with an offer at the last minute. Fun times. Need more coffee now as still feeling jaded for some unknown reason - maybe bike withdrawal symptoms as I haven't been out on 2 wheels since last Saturday and this shyte weather just isn't giving up quite yet.

Lacking in Woo here today.

The entire office apart from my team and a couple of the grounds guys are at a christmas lunch set up by our MDs PA. Not overly bothered about not being invited, more about missing a chance to waste a couple of hours. Never mind though, I've just booked our teams dinner for the 22nd December starting at 11.30 am and ending whenever we get thrown out.

P*ssing it down outside too so can't even be bothered to escape for some site visits.

Afternoon Knuckle Draggers,

Since my off on my maiden night ride on Wednesday I've felt nowt but pain in the area where my ribs used to be.

To compensate for this tonight I shall be consuming vast amounts of russian water. An added bonus is the Mrs is out for her Christmas party this evening so I can drow my sorrows enjoying nothing but my own company. Hopefully I'll be up early in the morning to get the worst of the hangover out the way before she turns up.

Its saturday here now.... but i need to do a friday update..... my eyes now work and i dont need to hold back vomitus....

35degrees and a xmas do' makes for horrid hangovers that take an age to go away... but you just cant say no to another cold frosty beer in that heat.....
