Morning Losers!

Thursday, the day before Friday. Roll on Friday!!

Worked late last night, which has worked in my favour as I don't have to get in early to work. Shouldn't be too taxing a day, more Christmas shopping needs doing. I ordered the first batch from Amazon, but I'm nowhere near finished!

This evening I'm off to Harrogate to visit my Aunt. Chinese is on the menu, so should be ok. I'll try to dose up on anti-histamines to fend off the evil cats!

Laters!

How much is this ho, and do you wanna go halves?

    Mornin' exes and double-exes

No idea what today will bring. I'm casting my expert eye through a document at the moment and hoping to get that sorted before the day is out, leaving me some time to kick back and
    a) burn stuff
    b) blow s**t up
...all in the name of 'engineering', you understand. But the important thing is to do it an a fearsome and/or spectacular way. With robots. 'Cos everyone loves well armed mecha.

    Onwards! To coffee! And Science!

  • Morning homos.

We have our quarterly offsite today. So I'm in work for a couple of hours this morning, then off down to the casino for a business update meeting and introduction to our counterparts in the newly acquired business, then a free lunch, poker tournament and free bar for the rest of the evening.

    Giggidy!

Oh, and the guy should be coming round today to upgrade our broadband too. House with no tail is finally going from 16mb to 40mb (actual speeds around 10mb at the moment.

You had a ho, with downs? you kinky little badger

Today I will be returning to work after an odd day off. I spent a good portion of it on the phone dealing with my 95 year old devoutly christian nan, who we got a bank card for last week after she has used a bank book all her life because her local branch had closed down. Said card arrived at which point she rang her bank and told them and I quote, that they could "stick their card up their behind" as she didn't want a card she could only use in Marks and Spencers and France. I have no idea where that came from, or the idea then that it was free to use in Wales, Ireland or Scotland but had to pay £1.45 per transaction in England, where she lives.

Off to the opticians in a bit to have my prescription checked for me old contacts and to order a pair of glasses that I get free with my lenses, always useful for around the house, then Gym then Work at 5

I have consumed a stolen hot chocolate, now heading for muesli...
Workstuffs to do, then gym, although my legs are pretty knackered as I haven't had a rest day since saturday.

Onwards! To archiving and other similarly boring things...

    Morning mongs!

Nice driving in this morning on the ice, had fun with Battlewagon II performing a controlled tail slide at 50mph.

Have to update my CV so that it mentions previous MOD experience as I'm being put forward for a job 10 miles from where I live. Woo.

    Morning party poppers!

Happy birthday lawman, good luck with the job Spong, if the job is only 10 miles away will you c*mmute on your r*ad bike and will you then reside on the c*mmunters thread?

Nowt doing in work this morning so sacked it off to get myself ready for an afternoon of xmas raffle and free booze! Historically it has usually ended with the HR women being enthusiastically hugged (better than saying sexually assaulted!) And the odd chap practising his windmilling techniques which is always a funny sight!

Onwards to lining ones stomach for the inevitable "hangover that would kill a civvy!)

There's two routes I could take, one which would need the inbred, the other would be on the r*ad bike. Hopefully alternating between the two would save me from a lycra clad hell.
