My first road bike - Storck Scenero

Hi everyone, am new here from Singapore, sharing a pic of my first road bike. Started off with the stock DT Swiss R1700 wheels, then switched to the Mavic Ksyrium Elites (about 8.34kg total bike weight with those) and finally with Xentis' new Squad 4.2 Silver Line tubulars, FMB Paris Roubaix 700x25 and Syntace Racelite 2 carbon bars. Current weight for my size 59 bike is 7.65kg.
Got the bike and wheels from Bikes n Bites, one of the better, if not best and friendliest shops I've had the pleasure of patronizing.

Nice.
I like the tan side walls retro touch.
There is a lot of blackness at the front though. A white tape would make it more balanced.
P.S. Expect some armchair bike fitting experts and pro wannabes to comment on the number of spacers0 -
Woahhhhhhh! Spacers much!?
If that's your first road bike, what were you riding before?0 -
That's a shocking first bike, why on earth didn't you get a Specialized Allez? Top0

All the gear!!0

What I think they all mean is......what a nice first bike (I'm jealous) and look, you've made it fit you properly......Look 566 viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12892775&p=18015091#p18015091

It looks fast. Ride in good health.
The frame looks NOS, is it a 2008/9 model?When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0 -
Thanks Sancho and FransJacques! It is the 2011 model.0
-
7.65kg bike as your first road bike? Also do you seriously train on tubulars and carbon rims or are they on for show?0
-
Hi lawrences, I train with the wheels pictured here.0

Went some place more scenic and took a couple of photos.

Nice indeed... was at bikesnbites on Saturday and they have a good discount on this frame 2012 model. How is your experience so far?0
-
Those forks look immense.the deeper the section the deeper the pleasure.0

hktosg: Sorry for the late reply! Experience with this bike is very good, comfortable, stable and power transfer is very good. Added on the Storck Ultra Comfort seatpost upon bike purchase for more comfort.
pride4ever: I suppose! But they're plenty stiff and increase handling confidence too.0 -
