    Starting stuff but not finishing it seems to be my default setting

    DIY Tracy Island (was going to be a lot better than the Blue Peter version)
    Several ambitious dens / tree-houses
    Walking the Cleveland Way (I blame my very leaky mk 1 goretex)
    Learning German properly (despite doing it at O level and working for German companies and twice in Germany briefly)
    Boarding the loft
    re-fixing all the steps and coping stones on the patio (I've had the sand and cement for 6 months!)
    Fitting my new mudguards (I mended the old ones with 2 elastic bands. 3 months ago!)
    Christmas shopping

    And so it goes on

    I have done profiling courses that reveal me to be an excellent starter and a crap finisher. (I get bored!).

    Fortunately I surround myself with people with that can finish off for me (ooooerrrrr!) for all the but the most intimate things.
