Hi Guys

Just been emailed by Cycle Surgery with an offer too good to pass up

They have Conti GP 4 Seasons on offer at £25.79 each and if you order 2 your get the 2nd one half price. Just ordered a pair and the total was £36.68.

Current tyres still have some mileage in them but couldn't resist this offer.

Comments

  • Thanks for that. Bargain!
  • £38.68 ;) just got myself a set, didn't realise there was the buy 1 half price offer either, well chuffed!
  • Christmas has come early. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up. Not my favorite tyre but they are effective over the winter months and I've tried to order a pair - extremely rare to see them at this price point. Hope I have more success than the last time I responded to a Cycle Surgery offer - they had exhausted stock before their system raised the empty flag. Fingers crossed!

  • Cheers for the post. Been thinking about replacing the tyres that came with my bike with a pair of these but at £70 for the pair was reluctant. At £38.68 taken the plunge.
  • yeah, Christmas has come early. Thanks for the heads up. good car good price.come on1.gif

??? I ordered 25's and according to the website - 23, 25 and 28 are all still available.

No where does it say the 2nd one is 1/2 price. It just is at check out. Im wondering if this is a mistake that they'll soon realise.

It says on the home page.
If you add two to your basket, it automatically adjusts the price.

Not any more. Missed opportunity. Must pay attention....
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

They had 23 and 25s when I ordered earlier this morning, 28s were out, which is fine as I went for 25s.

mine arrived this morning (Saturday) by courier, after ordering on Thursday. Impressed - was out this morning and slipping all over the place on a 2yr old set, so hoping these might be a little better. Just need to clean the bike and swap them over now :(

  • What does your order status say on their website? Mine is still saying 'In Progress - exported', ordered Weds and I suspect they will try and wriggle out of a few of these tbh

I only got a despatch notification this morning, I ordered Wednesday. Should arrive Monday.

I've ordered a few things from CycleSurgery and though they take a bit longer than say Wiggle to process and desparch orders, items usually arrive within a week.

  • hopefully despatched soon then, just a waiting game I guess. I have ordered from them before but the last one was cancelled as it was out of stock despite saying in stock on the website. Fingers crossed

    Hi Bigpikle

You must have the luck of the sainted Irish.

I was the OP and had already ordered mine last Tuesday before logging the post. However like Griffsters my order status just says "In progress - exported" - whatever that means. Hope I don't fall foul of the "out of stock" gremlin.

I was just saying to a friend this morning that I was expecting to receive an email in the next few days from CS advising that, much as they'd like to .... Surprised therefore to receive a note from them this afternoon confirming tyres have been dispatched. I only knew about it due to this post - if the OP has been bumped by CS, that's just not right :(

My order status was marked as 'In Progress - Dispatched' a few days ago.

I ordered 25's in case that makes any difference. Have to correct my previous post though, as according to the website I ordered last Tuesday - times flies as I've been away all week.

Damn. That's what I get for being on the road so much - work, not cycling. Sounds like it was a great deal

How about this for a bargain.Continental Attack and Force twin set, see the link http://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;n ... id=4;pgc=0. Postage to UK is only €5.95. At todays rates i think it,s about £ 41 still very cheap.
