Propedal setting on RP23 / Orange 5

I haven't used my older (2006 ish) Orange 5 much in the last couple of years, I had a hardtail I loved which has since been stolen. I am trying to reacquaint myself with the settings on the RP23.
The online manuals show Propedal to be on when the lever is to the left as you look down at the shock (so towards the non drive side) howevver on the Graphics pictured the Schrader air valve is on the right, my valve is on the left - does this matter or is Propedal on still left?
Thanks in advance.

I suspect so, definitely need to speed up rebound and put some more air in but knowing for sure which side is the propedal helps narrow things down.0
