Morning Losers!

So, a Royal baby is on the way! The real question on everyones lips is "Will we have a national holiday at the birth of the new heir?" I hope so!

Minion is back at work today, so I won't be running round as much. I work with some absolute idiots, which is worrying, as I know some get paid considerably more than me!

Anywho, Laters!

    Morning.
both kids are suffering with fever's so we have had a crap nights sleep, then i had a cat jump on me to make sure i wasnt going back to sleep.
Someone drove into my wifes car yesterday, wifey now has a bad back and she was working at the time, so thats going to get interesting.
The jumped up prick at work wanted me to go and help him today and tomorrow, but then sent me a email late last night saying he was going to work from home and for me to carry on without him, I dont think so matey. Prick.

Anyway i foresee bacons and coffees in the not to distant future.

    Morning Crudders,

Got a job offer finally - now negotiating over pay etc as they came in a bit low (unsurprisingly). That's all really.

6k is a lot of money, i took about a 3k cut and i can feel the affects of it. but you have to weigh up all the options. like i said before, money isn't everything :D

I'm going to do the interview, you never know on the day they might not like me, at least that way I find out instead of spending the rest of my life wondering 'what if'

Plus, y'know, staff discount on bikes...

No point worrying about it, you haven't been offered the job yet. They may take the decision out of your hands, all you can do is go along. Good luck with it.

    Evening bumders

Just bound the project finally. Handing it in tomorrow and forgetting all about it. The morning was mostly fiddling with little details and such, checking punctuation. Then spent the afternoon with my arm halfway inside a cow, one of the best ways to spend a December afternoon, it's just so perfectly warm.

    This evening is relaxing. Win.

What started as a crap work day when I went onto the MBA site & saw that I had passed my 2nd yr exams - thank muck for that.

Shame i have got a yr3 assignment to hand in on Thursday, as that meant only a couple of pints in the pub to celebrate and now back home to look at law and CSR

Great news! I recon the low ball offer is due to something that happened at the meal!

    Probably :P

I've managed to get them to up it but I reckon they can do a bit more before I bite. Got another interview with a second lot tomorrow morning just as back up (which I may casually mention to the headhunter acting for the first lot just to focus their minds  )

Nice, congrats, although I'm guessing this now means you'll have less time to spend just riding bikes whenever you fancy, so comiserations too I guess
