Sidi Ergo 2 carbon lite. Any good?

Upgrading soon and was looking at getting some of these. Anyone have them? What are they like?

I used to use Sidi, but they have just become ridiculously expensive over the last few years, and I've switched to Lake which are about 50% cheaper and excellent.

if you watch ebay you get lots of new stuff on there as people commonly buy the wrong size. i just picked up some brand news in box ultimate 6.6 carbons which were over £250 for £54 never been worn.

I’ve got a pair of Ergo 2’s (in shiny red – Froome style) and they’re great shoes, but sadly due to weight loss my feet have now shrunk (?) so they’re a wee bit too big. I’m now lusting after a pair of black Sidi Wire’s.

All of my shoes and trainers now feel too big. Madness!

[edit - I'm not saying I've gone from a 10 to an 8, your bones stay the same, but the meat has gone and so I've droped about a half size)

To the OP, i can recommend Sidi, great shoes imo,looking for similar to replace my ageing Energies. Apparently I have heard that the Ergo 2 and 3 come up a little small than the older models, so will be looking for half a size bigger.

I can second that only yesterday I bought some new trainers and have been an 11 since time began. Since loosing ten stone im now a 10. 10.5 at a push. Weirt and Ive got an inch and a half shorter which I was not expecting
I have been using Mavic Zxyelium or how ever you spell it and they seems great but I broke the carbon sole so have just bought a pair of sidis but dont get them until Jan the 16th when Im visiting england for a week.
