  • It also has an oversized silver rear skewer with an adventure trailer mounting bracket attached on the none drive side.

It also had a nuke proof bike light mount which is the only one I have - do nuke proof still do the mount as I still have the light!

Seems a lot is going on in North East Wales with bikes being stolen.

Police quote from today "if you've got a roof rack system worth £250 your not going to have crap bikes".

I will now take the bike mounts off the roof bars unless in use (major ball ache and if I had a tow bar I would of gone that route)

  • Any Joy? my bikes were stolen from oswestry, my local bike shop now knows of 10 in a matter of a few weeks, they left my road bike. The police werent much help (as there is no access to the house from the garage, despite being adjoined it is not classed as burglary?? for statistical purposes i expect). Bikes have also gone from chirk and st.martins.
  • No joy. Have sent you a PM

  • Cheers for the reply, cant PM you as i havent been on here long enough it would seem. Have been looking down similar avenues to yourself - as regards the online sharing you mentioned i dont use any. A mate had his mtb stolen and it did turn up 3 months later being sold on Ebay about 25miles away and he did get it back so fingers crossed eh? I know a lot of the lads that ride in this area so will pass details on of yours. thanks again
