I have recently become an avid fan of The Killing lll
To enhance my experience:-
I turn the heating off...
Switch the lights off
and sit there with my torch............

How about the latest episode Sarah Lund gets her kit off!
Yes and her jumper..Shock horror
That lass wants to be careful or she will catch her death of cold

Is torch a euphemism for something?

I'm halfway through the first season and think it's great. I like to pretend I can speak Danish now!

What, you walk around with 'Hi, how are you?' on a board at chest level.
  • I'm enjoying it - yes, of course - but the makers missed a trick. They've stuck with the format from s1 & 2. Would have been better if they showed Lund as a beat bobby somewhere where there's not much crime, and it's just a drama where not much happens. Taking place in daylight with Ronnie Hazelhurst-style music.
  • Great stuff!

Varg Veum is another great Scandinavian series. The Bridge, that has been shown on TV this year, and good old Wallander (not the crappy Kenneth Branagh one).

  • K3 is good but it also feels a bit repetitive after K1. Missing girl, parents fretting and trouble between the parents, the whole coalition politics angle on it (that TBH bores me a bit at times).

    It's good but Homeland's better.

I watched Borgen too. Good but won't be doing Borgen 2.

You're right. It does get a tad boring sometimes. I've found that a lot of Scandinavian drama is based around politics.

Couldn't get into Spiral, it was a few years ago now that I watched it, though. May have to to have another look.
