It's that time of year again. Not been commuting at all recently as I lost my job, but I've been stocking up on beer.
Here's the first instalment...

I did find an actual advent calendar that had a different gin miniature behind each window. Sadly it was £80 which felt a tad excessive...0

so good to read a well written, witty blog
Here we have a lager like thing. And a brown lager like thing.

Day two and it's already proving trickier than you'd expect.

Sorry to hear about the job Kets.
Been looking forward to the beer advent calendar for about the last 11 months...!FCN 3 / 40 -
Cheers, all. Am currently freelancing, so you never know... maybe being paid to do it might not be all that far away. It will if this next update's anything to go by, though.

Wow, the best thing about the start of December is the start of B A C. Good of you to grace us with your Bounty once again.
P.S. Hard luck about the employment thing.'fool'0 -

Ah, grand, it's back. You've made the world a slightly better place. I thank you.
Incidentally, ever tried "Sink the Bismarck" by Brewdog? 41 % (yes, forty one percent ABV in a beer. Take that!) of really surprisingly nice blindness in liquid form...Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.0 -
Cheers, Davis.
Not tried that one, but I did sample Tactical Nuclear Penguin. Wasn't a fan, really.0 -
Fair enough on the TNP. In that case I'm not sure you should actively seek out Seek the Bismarck as I think they're made from the same beer (Hardcore IPA). I bloody loves it though!Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.0

Excellent stuff Kets - I have a shop that sells Kohinoor round the corner from my office. I shall pop in to sample their wares...FCN 3 / 40

Cheers, Fuggler. You should try this one at least once. Took me by surprise.

Looks interesting. Talking of honey, I'm off to my brother's wedding at the end of next week, and I have been informed that the main drink to be served will be mead, which will be a new experience.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)
