Hi,
I've been looking at Thomson layback seat post on CRC & they list them with either 16mm or 7 degree layback.
Sorry to appear dumb but, what's the difference?
I would require a 27.2 x 330 but this 16mm or 7 deg thing is confusing me

Cheers for any help

this model of post has 16mm setback
i think they used to offer a choice of 7 or 10 degree, this was the angle of the bend in the post, the setback was the same (16mm), but the 10 degree would allow greater adjustment range in the seat tube vs. the shallower 7 degree one
thomson's site no longer lists the two different angles, presumably they are all the same angle now, which implies the "7 deg" one is old stock
i'd get the one described as 16mmmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
