Lower half

Hi all
Ive got a half decent selection of gear going on now, most bits seem to get plenty of coverage on here (lights, jackets etc) and Im happy wiht most my selections, one thing Im not sure on is the lower half..
So far Ive been in some 3/4 length Endura baggies with the provided liner (a bit above knee) but this now isnt keeping up to the lower temps. What would people suggest? Budget really is as low as possible, so Ive been looking at full length tights do something like these look reasonable? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tenn-Cycle-Legg ... 419&sr=1-6 or is there something Im totally missing? I was looking at the DHB options a short while ago but they seem to have shot up now pay day has rolled around
Really like to keep less than £20 if possible. Probably layer them under the baggies so I dont get arrested,,,
Cheers!

Look at leg or knee warmers. DHB do very good roubaix fleece type ones for under £20. Be worth taking a look.

Have got the endura 3/4's as well and just use knee warmers when it's cold. Was out in -3 this week and was fine during the 7 mile commute. Depends how much you feel the cold though, particularly round the shins.0

I use running tights/leggings over my normal shorts.
You can pick them up cheap enough from sports direct/decathlon etc , when its really cold i wear ron hill bikesters which are great and higher cut at the back to stop the draft.

If i was buying again i would go for bib leggings to keep the back covered more but with my base layer tucked into the above and a good jersey my back is covered enough.FCN 3/5/90
