Hello ladies and gents,
Been on here a while and thought I'd share my new toy with you all. Been out of the MTB scene for a good while but have wanted to get a Rockhopper since I was about 12!! Finally manage to get my act together and buy one, so here it is. I made a slight error and decided to but the standard one, but then realised that the kind of riding I was doing was going to require some upgrades. So I have started fettling as we all do, after changing the peddles for some MTB SPD's the first major thing to change was the forks, off came the Suntours and on went some Rockshox Reba's.
Future plans aren't massive, I will replace stuff as it wears out. Brakes will be high on the priority list, 180mm rotor up front and possible something to replace the Tektro's when they die. New lighter crankset, handle bars and seat post, and maybe some improved gear levers, but other than that I love it. Anyhow, enough waffle...

That's true I suppose. Thank you, I absolutely love it. Just need to find a good brake pad now, been getting nuke proof ones and they're only last 11/2 rides at Cannock with some road riding between. 220 miles and I'm on my 3rd set!0

That's not right. My SS Kevlar have been going 7 months and still more, don't go easy on them either with hundreds of miles on them.0
