Filmed yesterday at Stage coach trail, aka, "Devil's Slide", in Simi Valley. This "river of rock" really makes me feel my age...and then some!

I hadn't expected to enjoy that as much as I did.

    Amazing terrain; well pedelled.
How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

  • Is there a difference between the green and orange, apart from the colour!?

    Thanks so much!

The Oregon (green) is a 26er, has a different frame (cantelever) and a surly large marge rim, plus the super fat 3.8 wide Larry tire. The Oracle (black frame) is a 24" and has a traditional style frame, and it's aluminum (vs chromoly of the green), and has a much narrower and lighter wheelset and 3.0 wide tire. Both have the same disc brake system.
  • holy crap - and there was me thinking they were just unicycles - disc brakes!?

Yeah both unis have the same disc brake system. My other unis have magura rim brakes, which are also really nice. They help in controling descents and/or slowing down my geared uni. Otherwise, we use backpressure to stop and/or slow down.
