I bought a 2011 Trance X3 in May this year. Since then Ive covered 603 miles on it, mostly red routes at trail centres, a black route, lots of Sherwood Pines bike park action, a bit of cross country and a trip to the peak district round Ladybower.
It got a good clean and lube up today, so got some pics of it before it gets minging again on the next night ride!
Since I bought it I have added/upgraded to the following:
Easton Haven 711mm riser bar
Token lock on grips
Carbon cycles Exotic flat pedals
Maxiv XM719 rims on Superstar Switch hubs
Hope floating brake rotors
Panaracer Fire XC Pro's
Mucky Nutz Fender Bender
Cateye micro wireless
Absolutely loving the bike, next upgrade in the pipeline is some Hope brakes (the rotors have stopped the Avid squal though) and a new stem. And maybe a new seatpost too.
Any comments or questions welcome

My friend has the new anthem 29er full Suss jobby but I much prefer your colour combo (don't tell him!).
How are the carbon cycles pedals?
Stem looks long and I'd go with black cables but looks mint. Nice oneFamily, Friends, Fantastic trails - what else is there

I have seen the 2013 colours and I dont think there is any combination I like on the Trance!
The carbon cycles pedals are excellent, 10 out of 10. I planned to get Superstar Nano's which Im told are exactly the same, but these were cheaper and in stock at the time!
I was going to change the stem when I changed the bar, but I dont feel the need to so havent so far.
Cheers for the comments.0 -
