Cube Grips ripping my gloves to shreds

Hi,
First post here, got a Cube LTD Race about a month ago... loving it.
However, I gone through a pair of pretty heavy duty Hebo gloves in this time.
I think they are more motocross gloves, but they're light weight, seem to have a hard wearing synthetic suede palm with padded areas. Both left and right have torn badly on the outside edge of the palm with aggressive wear on the outside edge of the index finger also. I've had no crashes but after a ride there's a lot of fluff on the Cube's http://www.cube.eu/acs/griffe/ grips.
The problem I have is that I'm needing to buy a new set of gloves, but I'm worried that I'll just trash another pair of gloves in under a month.
The grips on the Cube seem extremely sticky with a section with small squares that is doing all the damage. I'm not holding the handle bars excessively tight as I'm doing nothing extreme.
Has anyone else experienced excessive glove wear on these or other grips?
Can you recommend me a possibly more Glove friendly grip?

The cubes do seem very grippy, but my gloves are fine on them (Royal gloves). It may be the gloves not grip.A Flock of Birds

What type of Royal gloves are you using? Is it a suede or smooth leather palm type glove?0

No problems with my Fox Sidewinders (fake suede) or my Specialized BG mitts (synthetic leather).2007 Felt Q720 (the ratbike)
