    What is Etape? and Marmotte, I thought a marmotte was a type of rodent? Yes I am bored and at work.

    Immediately, albeit at 1am this morning, so the server might have been less busy. That said, G66 paid at the same time as me and, unless I'm mistaken as to his name in real life, his name still isn't there.

    Yeah. It's strange. I'm not on the big list, and if you try again to enter, the first thing you are asked is to enter your dob to see if you're already registered. When I do that, I get a list of ten people, but I'm not of them. but that said, the site is so obviously cacked up that I'm not (yet) taking omissions as proof of anything.

    For those who've paid and are on the list, what have you had by way of email confirmation? Have you had anything from the organisers confirming entry, or just the confirmation of payment email?

    Ps. Vermin, I didn't have you down as a stalker. I'm off to cover my house in tinfoil. That'll stop ya!

    Only got the payment confirmation email, but my name is on the list. Tinfoil won't help; London's too small for anonymity, esp amongst lawyers. :wink:

    Actually that's only sort of true. Someone called 66 Greg is in. Why have the dirty lowdown Frogistanistas reversed my names? Are there no depths to which they will not stoop?

    Eta: I'm in immed after entering and paying a second time. I may therefore have a spare place. For someone who wants to choose between being Mr 66 or Mr Greg.

    Well when I checked to see if I was registered, I just wasn't on the list so went to register again and had to use a different card as the credit card I'd used before was being declined. Fraud prevention must have kicked in and stopped the first transaction.

    I'm in now. The cyclosportive option wasn't appearing until between 10 and 11 am this morning. The F5 key of my laptop at home got some wear over the weekend

    Completely fecked up my Marmotte entry. Got in when it opened. Remembered to use the French option. Saw Marmotte, check, 174km check, €50 seems right. Entered - Bingo. Email confirming payment. Name not on list. Appears today on the 2 day option. Who rides Marmotte over 2 days (Boffin want to swap). Emailed the organisers to explain my mistake and see if they'll transfer me to the real event. Soooo wanted to make up the 20 seconds I lost to Ribble last year and secretly was aiming for a sub-8 time.
