Can anyone let me know if these City Navigator UK / Ireland maps will work with the Garmin 800? I'm just surprised they are £25....I was led to believe they were £60 or so. Is it as simple as sticking the Micros SD card in and away you go?

Look fine, just plug in and go as you say - price seems about right - the full Europe version is £50:

Before you buy, you may want to do some Googling on using Open Street Maps with the 800, they're free and some claim they're better maps.0 -

The maps from here are as good if not better than City Nav maps and are free. They include most UK cycle routes. Get the 'Routable Bicycle (Openfietsmap Lite)' one. They are updated regularly which the City Nav are not.
For how to install them go to this site and scroll down to 'A guide to getting OSM maps onto the 800.' and follow the instructions.
