Hi,

I have just replaced my derallieur with a new Shimano M591 rear and it seems to of gone fairly smoothly apart from when the chain is at full stretch (low gear at the back, high gear at the front) the chain seems to catch a little on the tension pulley.

I know you are not supposed to be using the gears in this way but wondered if there was a screw or something that can be adjusted to help this?

This is the first time I have changed my derallieur so a bit green to this all

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Gavin

nope, if you have not changed anything else and you have got the correct mech.

    just dont use those gears.

Strangely enough I am just on YouTube at the moment seeing what the b-tension screw does and if it will help

Perfect nick thanks, looks like this could do the trick, I'll give it a go later.
