I was after a new 36T chainring for my Kona Stinky that came with this crankset from the factory.

I thought it was a standard 104 BCD so bought this from CRC:

I've gone to fit it today and it won't fit... :(

Any ideas what size I need? It fits on the outside of the prongs on the crank but that causes it to sit too far out for my chain device, it needs to sit on the inside like the current ring.

Some 104BCD middle rings have a different bore location size, a file will sort it out, file down the location tabs until its fits.

Its like the tabs on the inside are stepped in a little compared to the outside, are you saying just file the new chain ring down?
