Anyone know how to dismantle a Magic Shine rear lamp?

I think it's a MJ-818. There are a few videos on YouTube showing the lamp in bits, mostly demonstrating how the mode selector works, but I can't find anything on how to take it apart in the first place. I've tried unscrewing various bits of lens/bezel, but without any success...
