Morning Losers!

Still tired. That sucks. My brain was trying to trick me into more sleep this morning, I was dreaming that me and my friends were telling each other what our alarms sounded like. When my started ringing, it wouldn't turn off, then I woke up. Nice one brain, maybe next time.

Apple course starts today, luckily I'm just tech support for it. Hopefully it'll go ok, I've tested the system as much as I can.

Back to Bury later, hopefully the traffic isn't bad. Drive safely people, don't delay me!

Laters!
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

    Mornin' window lickers

On a postive front, it's almost the weekend and today is fried breakfast day, so bacons will feature, with other assorted fried piggymeats. See, that just makes the world seem a better place.

The downside? Got to have a difficult phone call. M'eh, life goes on!

    Onwards! To coffee! And MEAT!

Friday is finally here and there are less than three hours remaining before a whole two weeks off. All I need now is for the rain to stop and the road / rail / airport networks to run smoothly and I'll be on my way.

With less than three hours to go I'd better get on and sort out some of this shoot.

    Later......

  • Morning all,

Managed a lie in for the first time in ages, which was nice but I shouldn't have. Had the same problems with alarms as the kicking mule. Today will be filled with hopes that my frame comes today.found out the forks I ordered have not even been sent out yet after a week, which is a shame, but I won't have my new mtb up and running for a while anyways.

Enjoy your day Kev, really sorry to hear about your wife's friend.

Terrible news kev really sorry to hear that

Off to wolves to visit family and play merry hell with the Halifax who insist that the only way my hard of hearing 95 year old house bound nan can change her account from a book to a card is either by phone or going into a branch. The only reason she needs to change is because they've shut her only accessible branch in a 20 mile radius and stopped 3rd party withdrawal forms so family can get cash. If she wanted to add all 5 of the people who get her money for her (which she doesn't) to her account, guess what....she has to go into a branch; what part of household is so hard to understand.. We've tried the phone way and they won't help because she can't hear the questions, so their answer is that's its better that someone else sort her money even though mentally she's more than capable and in order for her to do it she still has to go into a bloody branch.

    Anyway.....enough from me

Kev really sorry to hear about that... I've had a few things like that happen this year so I hear you.
Good news is a girl I follow on Twitter who, this April, at the age of 30 (ish, I think) was diagnosed with b00b cancer, was given the all clear yesterday...

Sun is shining, I'm planning a New year getaway with the Partner In Crime in Cornwall, just seen flights from Brum to GVA for £150 incl board carriage for the week of my birthday, Ben Howard last night was great (even if I did accidentally dry hump a guy)... life's pretty good!
Can't decide what to do this weekend as the weather looks a crud... play it by ear I guess.

Any advice on less knobbly tyres for my spesh? (for the aforementioned trip to Cornwal)

I'm going to Cannock Saturday morning for a pootle - maybe a couple of FTD laps, or a trundle around Monkey. I'm not fussed what the weather does - just want to get out! You're welcome to team up, as I'll be solo anyway.

Kev - terrible news, and sadly there does seem to be a lot of it about this year.

I was thinking of going to Cannock, but my neck is playing up really badly today, falling off that horse on Sunday's made it so much worst... need to see a physio urgently.
Also I've been offered a free trip to the Harry Potter studio tour... hmmm decisions decisions
