Can anyone recommend me some brake callipers please?

Basically, I am currently using an old style BMX calliper on my bike, which isn't very good. I wanted to know if there's anything else I can use that is possibly better, but around the same size. I need a 79mm drop. I had V brakes, but I really want to stick to using callipers.
