The daughter has been offered some Reco Gold SL's for her bike, but they are 100mm and her Full Creme is a bit twitchy on 100mm's, are Recon's easily rebuildable for more travel or should we look elsewhere?
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

If they are Recon Gold RL they go from 80 - 120. I don't know about the older Recon SL if it those though0

I believe recons come in different sizes, as in i have Recon Gold TKs and they're are only adjustable between 80mm and 100mm, not 120mm. But there are 120mm options. Can the travel definitely be increased?0

Only way to find out is to crack them open and look for spacers.0

LOL....would have bought them by then! But thanks.....
Manitous I know for example come in at 80/100 or 100/120 and until you take them apart you have no idea if a 100 is the shorter or longer one!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
