Morning Losers!

Went to the German Market last night and had some Light Wheat Beer. It's nice stuff! Had a good catchup with Hot Librarian, and got home to find chicken risotto in the oven. Awesome.

Today, it seems warm, and the heating isn't on, so I'm guessing it's tropical outside. There's no other explanation.

Roll on 4:30!

Quite a nice morning so I brought the other bike into work again. I like to get out for a run on it before starting 'work'.

Speaking of 'work', not much left to do until I finish on Friday except trying to look busy so I can avoid getting stuff dumped on me.

    Time for tea.

    Later......

Today I will be biting the bullet. Actually, I shall be taking a [OBSCURED] calibre [OBSCURED][OBSCURED] round, [OBSCURED] it [OBSCURED] and doing some [OBSCURED][OBSCURED] to it. Hopefully the [OBSCURED] is [OBSCURED] and not [OBSCURED], otherwise my [OBSCURED] is toast! M'eh. What's the worst that could happen? Let it not be said this job ain't varied.....

Before that coffee and a meeting. And drying out. Lots of drying out. It was a bit wet on the way in this morning. By 'bit', I mean 'stupendously'. God had cut a lake into vertical strips and dropped it out the sky. I was underneath.

Onwards! To caffiene! And a towel!

Thekickingmule - who's got something in the oven?

Today is meeting, study and then picking up the wife who's going to a wine tasting with oz Clarke - got a feeling that will be messy and expensive

    Morning Wasters,

Off up North to see the parents this morning - got a funeral to attend there on Friday, then back down South for a manic weekend of activity. No interweb access in the meantime so it will be a bit quiet for me: think I will do some catching up on sleep. Have fun...

Nobody I've been touching, that's for certain! Though Maddie is slowly becoming 'of age'... :?

Tropical... hmmm. More like tropical storms. I'm soaking! (and not in a good way, or a bukkake way!!)

The first and only time I went drinking in Derby I ended up in hospital and a 5 day hangover.

Wellies required for the walk from the car to the office today...but at least I'm dry.
Usual shifting of paperwork around on my desk today, followed by riding a horse round in a circle.
Then I'm going to actually fire up the laptop and make big progress on the application/CV situation.

    Hello Scuttlers

Struggling to get up in the mornings. Was going to ride today but I'm still waiting for the little bit for my seatpost, hopefully it'll come today so I can head out tomorrow. Just in case I'm heading out to get some spd shoes and second best I'll take Zapp out for a blast instead.

Anyway time to get moving and get my arris up the gym as well.

    Tarrah a bit
