Shimano Centre/Center Lock Brakes Removal Tool

Gents, am I correct in thinking that the tool required to remove a Shimano Centre/Ceter Lock is the some one used to remove a cassette lock ring?

New bike that is on order (not seen in the flesh) has Centre/Center Lock brakes and I just need to know if I need another tool.

or the BB tool depending if it is splined internally or externally. and that one may not work due to the spike.

when tightening...be sure not to overdo it and strip the thread of the lockring.
