This question comes around regularly, though I've got that list of tracks that I think are grat to ride to, I actually prefer silence / sound of nature / wheels. I find music too distracting.0

was riding at FTD summer just gone, i could hear music in the distance as i continued to climb caught a guy up with what looked like a 80's ghetto blaster strapped to his back under a cape.
couldn't get past the selfish get,had to listen to his shit music all the way up to he rest stop.
anyway back to op bit of shaggy, jack johnson that kind of mellow tunes does it for me always through bone conducting head phones, sometimes i just like sound of my tires0 -
Can I be arsey preachy man as I believe you shouldn't be listening when riding. Especially on road where you should be aware fully and if offroad, christ listen to the birds, the stream bubbling or wind blowing.sanctimonious pish over.0

I did start listening to music but found it distracting, same as riding solo if I ride with people they normally talk too much.0
