Sorry, it's abit 'mechanophile', but there's some damn lovely bikes out there. This is straight to the top of my hardtail dream list on looks alone.

I love that. Saw it on pinkbike earlier. If i was to have a hardtail it'd be that all the way.
But they did steal my paint scheme!

Damn, you guys must have some strange perversions indeed not to think that is a looker!0

That is a very average looking, standard Specialized hardtail.
I think the Charge Duster with super skiny tubes is much nicer.
The Intense Tazer HT is also a thing of beauty.

Also, the bike the OP linked is not a Specialized.0 -

Urgh god! That's a fat child smuggling double cheese burgers that is... He might have been aiming for sarcasm, that the beauty that started the thread is little more than a mass-produced piece of scrap... but looking at his alternative suggestions I don't think he's the aptitude for such observations0 -
I like the Intense, it rides very nicely as well. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder I guess.
That thing at the top of the page certainly looks like a Specialized, same paint, same boring looks.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Is the Intense yours?0

Big fan of the Shan, but I think most of it is to do with the paint job.
The frames have a daft bottom bracket and a hole in the headtube; for those reasons I'm oot. What We Achieve In Life, Echoes In Eternity0 -
Quite like the look of the Shan even though it's not my cup of tea.
And although I think this is the MTB equivalent of the Anti-christ I have to admit it's not too shabby:

Saw that on STW.
I love the Niners but my fave is the Jet 9 RDO - Its so ugly, its beautiful. This coming from someone who doesnt really like the look of full suss'ers. I havent a clue why i like it, but i do.

I agree on the looks
Just a shame about the weight. 2.6kg doesnt look too bad, until you consider that you can get similar travel full sus frames for around the same. I dont really see the point of a HT unless it is lighter than its full suss equivalent.0 -
I looked at these before I bought the 456, it looks great in the black, had they been reviewed when I got the 456 I may have been tempted by one of these instead, because its bloody lovely!!0

If it's not a cube it's not the best looking bike. In my opinion the cube ams 130 sl is the best.0

I reckon the shan is a pretty sweet looking bike, not sure about most beautiful ever, but it's definitely a looker. More so than my ragley at least!0
