Hi,
I am new to mountain biking and am looking for a bike.
I have seen two second hand bikes:
2010 Boardman MTB Pro - £500
2012 Boardman MTB Comp - £475
What one would be best value. Or neither?
Thanks for your help

Who knows? Spec alone is not enough when it comes to second hand0

what sort of the things are good to look out for. Both look in good condition.0

The 2010 pro has a fantastic spec and, if in good condition, is the one to go for. However, as stated it all depends on condition. You can google 2010 boardman pro and get the spec to check the bike still has all the same parts on it like the carbon XO rear deraileur etc.
Can you go and look atht e bike and get someone who knows a little about bikes to go with you?0 -
I would say the 2012 Comp is best value if it is in immaculate condition. You can pick up Boardman Pro's for under £500 on ebay anytime0

The Pro, without a doubt. If they are both in good condition, the Pro is far higher specced, and a fair few pounds lighter.0
