Reckon Btwin made winter bike sales killing with Triban3 ?

Ok so they come in about 22 lbs and have the 2300 shifters, but is there a better value bang for the buck winter bike than the Triban 3...........I dont think so. When I was out cycling last sunday the blue eyed boy of the club was out on his winter ride and it was a Triban 3. We finished the trip and were all plastered in mud as the sunday run comprises a lot of hilly country roads , my Caad8 was caked in it and when my wife saw me walking in the door she shouted "IN THE SHOWER ......NOW !!!!!!!!!". Ive no doubt im gonna pick me up one of those triban 3 bikes for muddy, wet and cold winter ride,s and Id be amazed if Btwin hadnt made a killing with them regarding sales for that exact purpose.

    saw three on my ride today, all ridden by people of differing abilities.

    Around the time I was looking to pick up my first road bike which was September they were sold out in every size country wide. Know they have them back in stock after that initial surge post magazine review but a lot of people seem to be picking them up either as first bikes or winter hacks.

    ive got one ive just upgraded my bike but i will be keeping mine, only thing ive replaced on mine are the wheels as the original ones are shite, and the handle bars cause i got some fsa wing bars cheap, only thing id say is that they wont fit proper mudguards (all though crud roadracers fit)
