Weebils, Space Hoppers, Rubics cubes, Stylophones, Choppers... ?

I don't think childhood is complete without falling off a space hopper.

    Stylophone? Pffft. :)

I've got AniMoog on mine. A proper old school synth.

The world has moved on fella.

I don't think childhood is complete without crawling up and cleaning your first chimney.

He got an ice pick, that made his ears burn.
  • Have you ever been to those foreign markets (one in manchester at the mo) - they always seem to sell 'traditional' wooden toys - are these popular in germany I wonder - do german kids really get off on plane built of tree?

I made my kids a 'trolley' when they were little. That was what it was called around here when I was a nipper; a few bits of wood with some wheels that was nailed together to resemble a sort of go-kart. You'd find a bit of street with a bit of a slope, roll the trolley down it screaming with terror and take the skin off your knees.

The kids didn't quite get to the terror stage but they had a good time none the less. What was interesting was the reaction of other adults...."Is that a trolley?, not seen one of those in years" :)

The older I get, the better I was.
