FSR XC headtube

Hey guys, ive bought a 2008 FSR XC but am still awaiting delivery on it. I need to order forks and will be going to buy used, but have no idea how much steerer I need. Can someone with this frame advise to how long a steerer I should be looking at? It is a size large if that helps.

What size frame? Different frame sizes have different length headtubes.

It is a size large, stated in last sentence. I wonder if 185mm will be enough?

185mm might be too short. A large FSR XC has a 140mm head tube plus external cup bearing headset makes about 170mm.
