We are stitching together a soundcard for OB. Please post your links in this thread to allow us to put them togther for him
OK here's mine as an example;
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2tneshbh1lif4vr/SimonAH.wav
I'm sure that there are many, many better ways to do this but anyway;
I recorded this as a voice memo on my iPhone and emailed it to myself. Uploaded the file to http://www.convertfiles.com and converted it from the iPhone's .m4a format to .wav. Stored the file on drop-box and posted the link.
If we all do similar over the next few days we will have our library of messages to ready to stick together for Irving's soundcard.
Please just post links to files here to keep this thread clean - other discussion on this subject in the OB thread in this forum.
Thanks!

It's quieter than Simon's but I believe that can be rectified somewhat. Equipment used: Gaming headset microphone plugged into laptop running Audacity.
In case anyone else is nervous about doing this (I was), buggerit: just do it. It's not for our benefit, and the end result should more than compensate for any of our misgivings.Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.0 -
My turn.
Hope I've got this right.

Right, so finally got round to doing this. CJ came round to mine and we recorded a message. It may have taken a couple of attempts. I decided to include the outtake of the first attempt then the second and final attempts.
Hope the links work.0
