The meeting with the big boss was ok actually, he listened to what problems we were having and made lots of notes. We'll see whether something comes of it or not.
Also got offered freelance work from work, so will be earning a few hundred quid next weekend. Not bad just before Christmas!

Fryday is upon us, which means a proper breakfast of fried piggymeats, fried potato bits and fired eggs. And some beans. Because they count as vegatables whilst not looking like the kind of s**t that food eats.

Then there will be some work, largely of the amusing variety, as we're trying to do something really silly, because we can.

The weekend will be spent between the ongoing race car build in the garage, and out biking with few mates. Actual, honest to goodness bike riding - in the countryside and off-road and everything.

Onwards! To more coffee! And bacons!

A serious case of CBA today after yesterday’s goings on.

The company’s elfin safety tw@s have decided I have to rewrite my newly rewritten risk assessments yet again because they have changed the format of the approved form again. How it will make the job safer is beyond me. Perhaps if they got out of their ivory tower every once in a while to see the real world then things might be different.

Gym after work followed by some (plenty) beer. Music gig tomorrow night and more beer so all in all a good weekend ahead.

Fun night was had last night, Watching my wife who has been dying her hair for years dark red or brown trying to go back to being blonde (she is a natraul blonde) Much hilarity and pointing fingers at the different shades of orange she was going. 3 attempts later she dyed it back to brown.
I was building up Shakira, and she is now up for sale if anyone is interested?
Also managed to buy a GoPro 3 wifi off of here, i wonder if i've been done?

Anyway fried sliced piggy meat and coffee is on the cards

morning all,

tired today after going out for the first ride in months with the club - i'm so unfit!! i beasted the same ride last time we did it, i had to get off and push on the final climb last night :oops:

ah well, quite a busy day ahead and then i'm off to watch wales lose at rugby again tonight which will be helped slightly by the amount of beer i'm going to consume.

Another day another office - today is B.ham which meant leaving at 5.45 - much fun. But hopefully means getting away a bit earlier as I'm getting my hair cut - but I doubt it, so will end up missing my appointment.

So meeting all day and as its Friday that is followed by the pub

Friday and the AOC isn't here!
Had a good night in the pub with a friend setting the world to rights last night.
Today I will do a bit of work, but mostly be re-writing my CV and completing the old application form. Actually hoping there's less cake today, 3 portions yesterday was just a bit much.
Tonight is another night in a pub, with a different friend (but who has the same name) probably talking about relativity..

Friday which means start of mini week too.

Yesterday was a bit of a fail. Manchild yelling at Mrs G claiming she had kept him prisoner in this house, me telling him several home truths and that if he breached his contract i would take him to the small claims court. Cuckoo hanging about and asking for my help with a handjob (he used to bike and wants to get back into it) and then i rebuilt my seatpost section of Amy only to realise that two tiny but important components were in my tool chest that got pinched grr

Managed to lock myself out of a fire station last night, luckily as everything's left open when they go out on a call I managed to find a way back in. Would have been a long wait otherwise.

All site visits finished, I'm off out on the bike at lunch time.

Was knackered for no apparent last night so was in bed by 10 but didn't surface till 9.30 this morning - but I don't feel ill? Anyhow, should hear back about my interview today - will either be in party mood if I've got through to a final round with the big boss, or seriously farked off if not! Fingers crossed...

Edit: recruitment bod called: they're keen and want me back for a final interview with the finance director. Get in there, I'm cracking open a few beers tonight
