shoe recommendations?

I've had these dhb carbon soled shoes since I got my bike and have decided I can bear them no more. The fastener on one shoe is so badly positioned it's very hard to use and I get really numb toes if it's chilly or a reasonable distance.
Can anyone recommend from experience which shoes are good value (ideally under £100) and do you get a larger size bike shoe than regular shoe?
I don't need to walk far in them and I love my SPD-SLs so don't need MTB or touring shoes.
That is all! Thanks...

Numb toes could be a sign that your shoes are too tight. If that is sorted, in cold weather overshoes/socks can help.
As for shoes its very personal so hard to give you specific advice but in general Spech, Giro, Sidi, Bont and Lake are all very good makes to have a go at.
Sizing is all over the place and varies wildly beteween brands so its a case of try em on.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
Bont like slippers and very light, great shoes although they are not cheap.0

Overshoes are worth a go if your feet are getting cold - surely everyone is in them by now ?
As Smidsy says - try the shoes on. Sounds like you already have a pair of badly fitting ones - so why take advice from people on the internet ;-)

Try a few brands out, you'll find they tend to be different shapes.
Shimano - quite narrow through the toes (hence also selling wide fit)
Giro - wider but with a low toe box (fit me brilliantly)
Specialized - pretty wide and a taller toe box
Northwave - very roomy
Sidi - seem to be somewhere in the middle
As smidsy says, sizing vary's between brands so it's well worth trying them on. I also seem to find that I'm a size larger (47, writing off all the Euro brands that stop at a 46) in cycling shoes than normal.0 -
Check out the new mavic range at crc and wiggle, great looking shoes for around 100 quid0

thanks people, looks like a trip to the bike shop is in order. Regarding overshoes, I've got some Bontrager furry lined ones that are fantastic!0
