Morning Losers!

Half way through the week! We're nearly at the downward spin to the weekend, wooo!

I'm sleeping a lot better at the moment. Covering the light from a freeview box and turning our boiler off at night seems to be making a difference (the boiler was keeping my housemates up it would seem). Now we just need to convince the landlord that there's something wrong with the boiler!

I think I'll make (read: buy) chicken kievs tonight. Mmmm

Laters!

Half way through the week and another day with a full minion compliment. Despite this, the amount of work always seems to expand to keep everyone busy so expected easy days do not happen.

I’m ready for it all though. Good gym session last night and a hearty bowl of porridge this morning.

Getting used to this cakeless beverage thing now so for just now, at least, it is just tea.

    Later……
  • Came off the bike last night. According to Strava at just under 40kph..

Pretty sore today so i'm going for a sympathy vote lol.

    Mornin' exes and double-exes

Same ol', same ol' today, including bacons. Because I'm worth it.

Also trying to conbvince myself I have no current need for a full-susser in my life, even though a local purveyor has a lightly used, large, Golden Willow going cheap. A fancy bike will not make Clank look any less of a spaz on the trails, but sadly said purveyor have sold out of 'rad handling skills'.

Onwards! To second coffee! and fried piggymeats!

    Morning Crudders,

Had a good curry and a beer or two last night but the coffee afterwards stopped me getting to sleep for ages, now feeling a bit knackered. Will try to summon up enough energy to go out on the bike a bit later but for now a bit of dossing is needed :)

Just looked at it on Strava and that's a pretty rapid deceleration!!

More importantly is the bike OK?

I have mostly spent the last 2 days being totally fed up.
Have spent a couple of hours this morning in front of my SAD light and magically I feel a bit better.
Not much to report, except I'm going to ride round in circles tonight on the back of a horse. Some would find this utterly boring, for some reason it makes me happy.
At lunch I will be hunting down some high quality cake, to feed my addiction.

It could be a placebo effect, but I don't care as long as it works. (Which it seems to)

    That's a 'halogen hob' you're thinking of.

Having said that, sizzling bacons do make many people feel better.

Both bike have arrived, Shakira 2 is awaiting her re build, the yet un-named bike has been put together and pedaled round the car park here at work. Very pretty she is too.

Work is getting in the way of fun again, but i should get to prod it a bit later?

    Afternoon mongs

Today has been spent doing workstuff from 07.00, although half an hour at lunch time has been spent ordering various paints and stuff for the Mk22 Spitfire and 5000th F-4 Phantom I ordered whilst tiddly last night.

Anyway off to a meeting then home.

Well you say you feel better but Im sorry what proof do you have that it works? Oh sorry wrong thread ;)

Kev when you say nearly rode over Monkeys head Im presuming that was as a result of avoidance and not a failed attempt to capitalize on his misfortune.

Afternoon. Coffee being consumed to get me through a trip from aberdare to the land of elcap. Anyone off early next week btw to play bikes? I have a gap appeared in my social and sporting calendar.

    r.

Ha ha, I was aiming for him but I missed! But no, I was riding right behind him and as I slammed the brakes on my front wheel started to wash out and I was going straight for him!! Luckily I managed to right it and ride around him
