Was anyone ride from Sheffield towards Lady Bower on Sunday.

...and was joined by a young lad on an oldish looking, red Raleigh?

If so it was my lad.

He was in Sheffield visiting his girlfriend and went out for a Sunday morning ride, he said he met someone on the road to ride along with, just wondering if it was anyone here.


The older I get, the better I was.

    Did he continue into Glossop because I overtook a 'young' man on the Snakes Pass descent? Part of his bike was red and it was about one o'clock. He passed me at the top of Snakes Pass as I was eating something and turning round. (I had to get back home for dinner.)

    Just had a look at a map and it doesn't sound likely. I'll ask him tonight. He said he went from Sheffield to Lady Bower and partly along the side of that.
