I had these. Thought they were a bargain at 20 squid and was using them with looks.
However i went for my professional bike fit and he said that your shoe should be solid on the sole. These bend like ballerina shoes and we attributed my foot aching to them.
You should maybe use them to get used to being clipped in so you havent wasted your dosh but mine were bought in July and i had a slight wear in one due to the amount of movement in them. Also the velcro straps often curled up and rubbed the crank on the way round. It didn't do any damage but was a pain in the ar*e. See how you get on but start looking at other shoes and saving now for them.Specialized Roubaix Sport Comp 2013

+1. Made that roookie mistake back in January and they really are junk.
Soles are way too flexy, mine didn't even sit flush with the cleat profile. Also that velcro strap WILL catch on the crank (stupid design going to the inside) and the uppers are as soft as slippers, meanining your foot is never in the same position twice, providing no useful purpose for cycling.
I can not state how much better it is when you get some proper equipment.
I have learned that quite often if you buy cheap you buy twice.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
