Mehning Losers!

CBA with work. CBA with housemates. That pretty much sums up my feelings today.

I hurt from mountain biking on Saturday. No idea what I've done to my shoulder, but it seems to be fine unless I want to sleep, then it just can't get comfortable. Great. Needless to say, I've woken up just as tired as I went to bed.

Ah well. Judo later, that'll be interesting.

    It seems to be a common thread through this thread but I just CBA today either. Excesses of most things over the weekend, mainly beer, bacons, biking, more beer and more bacons with sausages, have worn me out.

    I’ll be struggling to stay awake during the usual Monday meeting.

    No cake, no digestive, so it’s just tea.

    Morning Mongs!

    Unlike everybody else so far I can be ars*d today as it's the last day before my manager apparently returns. I can't see why he doesn't just go and spend the winter at his villa in Portugal playing golf. I might actually carry on being able to do my job.

    Weekend was great, both child 1 & 2 learnt how to build a fire using a strike and much cycling was done. Even managed a 5 mile run yesterday afternoon follwing child 1 on her bike.

    now off to make more tea!

    Pretty much a weekend of win and food.
    feeling it today, a mixture of over eating, over drinking, riding in the cold muddy slop and more over eating.
    Must detox a tad this week i think?
    coughing up much phlegm this morning and got all sorts of work Meh that kicked off over the weekend which i have to sort out, but other than that i'm still smiling.

    Saw Skyfall yestday with the Outlaw, very good, first Bond i've ever seen at the cinema (i think?) then Ill manors last night, which was also very good (surprisingly so).

    Today Coffee been consumed, now for some hot lemon me thinks?

    One extra meh - the ferkin tube is a nightmare. Couldn't imagine being crushed like that on a daily basis

    Morning scuttlers

    Another in the cba club today. Back at work after a fortnight off and its a 60 hourer. Still Im off next week.

    Got my seatpost back from wiggle the weekend works brilliantly now but crucially is missing the grubscrew to hold the cable in place, a screw i took great care to not lose. Safe to say i blame chain reaction cycles

    Wierdly I'm feeling pretty good today as the only excess I managed over the weekend was coffee. Now in full flow getting sorted for tomorrows job interview then I'll relax a bit once everything's sorted.

    Wifey is busy trying to get tickets booked for an overpriced football match at Christmas time but I'll let her have that as a birthday present.

    after my little crash and tooth breaking incident..... im looking at $4000 to get an implant to fix my grill..... :evil:

    morning frotters...

    No delivery from SS fri, so no bike building over the weekend, :( cold seems to be on its way out now though... mainly due to me wearing everything I own then beasting myself on the turbo to sweat it out...then feeling shite all day after.

    Bit of bike packing sun ready for holiday next sat... and I found a dead rat in the attic, thats about it.

    Today is waiting for the bits that didn't turn up fri...
    A berm? were you expecting one?

    Feeling cautiously positive today, work is normal, but outside of work things aren't too bad.
    Did the whole Penmachno trail on Saturday, as a reintroduction to MTBing it was a bit of a baptism by fi.... no not fire. Water. Lots and lots of water. Suffice to say that by the time it decided to actually rain for half an hour I was already saturated from the feet upwards. It was hard bloody work, but I had an immense sense of achievement. And I think I might be over my (totally rational) fear of slippery wet rocks...
    Broke a spoke while I was at it, so the rear wheel is now more bent than it was when I started. Definitely think it's time for a new wheelset...

    monday morning is now finished! It'll soon be friday again.............i wish!

    had a pretty good weekend catching up on lots of telly that the bottom feeder has been taping for me, birthday tomorrow and have no cards yet, hopefully there will be some back at home when i get there next friday, will go and buy myself one tonight just in case and surprise myself with it in the morning, which'll be nice!

    today has also been a day of CBA and general meh. hopefully tomorrow will be better, i can no longer post during the day because this stupid blackberry pile of sh**e doesnt understand what a pop-up is and i cant log on. boohoo.

    and to finish the day off the on one frame i looked at all last week and finally decided to buy today has now gone back up to full price. god damn son bitch.

    tooth snapped in two above the gumline..... fractured the bone at the base of my nose... broke the bridge of my nose (again) and maserated my lip (popped it) so i now have a scar that looks a little like a flux capacitor.... pics will be took once i get round to it.

    I done something similar myself many years ago. Me and my brother built a ramp in the street and I tried to jump over him riding my skateboard on my knees. The wheels caught on my brothers clothes and I faceplanted into the concrete. Knocked one tooth out whole and the other was cracked in half diagonally. Cue ten years of NHS funded dentistry during which time the half tooth was removed and the rest of my teeth moved round to fill the gap. Finally my new front teeth were capped to look like full size front teeth.

    Anyway, back on topic. Been a good few months of CBA now and today I found out why, I've been diagnosed with depression. So time to make some changes. Planning to get out on my bike more and stuff like that as I reckon that will help more than the meds. And you know what they say, "ain't no party like a Prozac party!"

    Noo such thing as NHS over here..... public health is slower that a week in jail.... and if you do anything that resembles work or earning a living for yourself.... you are pretty much on your own.... so looks like i will be forking out a mint to get sorted... :(
