Front folk upgrade cannondale sl4

so i bought the cannondale sl4 2012 with RST Omega TnL 100mm front folks.Now i know these folks are both heavy and not the best.What would be a good upgrade.they have a 1.5" steerer so options will be limited.
Is the bike upgradeable or am i better of saving for a new bike,

Depends on your budget really, but I'm sure you can fit 1 1/8th forks with a reducer headset.
