New helmet - But I have a big head

I really want an Urge EnduroMatic helmet but my head is too big! I was looking at the 661 Recon but I think that'll be about the same size as the Urge.

Does anyone else have this problem? If so what did you go for?

Dirt helmets like Giro Flak, Section etc. will fit anybody if you don't mind them, but many helmets are just not made in such large sizes

Most size up to about 62cm, which can fit but it depends on the shape!

I have a melon head too - Giro helmets fit me perfectly. Their Large seems quite generous. I currently have a Giro Hex.
But as ever, try before you but.

Enduromatics are on the small side my head is 62cm and there's no way a L/XL Enduromatic will fit.

661 Recon Giro Feature Fox Flux all OK

I wouldn't leave out the Fox Flux either, from a large head perspective, mine is 62 cm and the L/XL fits perfectly with lots of options for adjustment.

Pretty handy input as the 661 recon, Giro Feature and Fox Flux were all ones I have been looking at.

I guess it'll come down to which one I can find for cheap!

I have a huge Merrick and found the Fox helmets the most comfortable to meet the needs of my bonce.

I actually went for a 661 recon in the end. Should be here tomorrow so will let you know how it fits!
