Hi folks,
Getting back into mountain biking and want to spend a decent amount of money on a bike that will give me the enjoyment factor and last for a while.
I have seen the Genesis Core 26.5 2012 model for £1100 and the Giant XTC 1 2011 for £1050
I will be doing hard tail cycling and no big drops etc
Any advice would be very much appreciated

Post up links to the bikes you're looking at - most people don't memorise spec.I don't do smileys.

The Genesis, but it's shown as out of stock, and the Giant is only available in small.
Depending on size, for the money I'd buy this

or look at Boardman from Halfords.
Plenty of choice at that price point.I don't do smileys.
